What is a Job Coach

Like everyone else, people with developmental disabilities can increase their capacity for learning and improve productivity when they are given extended time and increased support. Job Coaches ensure that an inclusive and non-oppressive learning environment promotes individuality, autonomy and self-confidence allowing individuals the time they need to develop skills that them be actively engaged in work and the community.
